we decided to gather some of the closest family members at home just to celebrate Adelle’s first birthday as it did fall on monday. i spent the whole day baking a chocolate cake and about 30 pieces banana cupcake as souvenir. all with the help of my lovely mother in law. she made the green koala fondant (we meant it to be a bear – just like adelle’s favourite bear, but it looked like a koala in the end 
)
i was exhausted, but very very happy as people loved my cakes! yaayyy *now i can officially take orders hehhehe*
the part that makes me the happiest is that i managed to bake Adelle her very first birthday cake myself – with all its imperfections. it means the world to me.
once again, happy 1st birthday my dear girl, you have made me a very proud mother and i hope you’ll grow to be the best you can be. may God always be with you every step of the way. i love you more than words can say. *muahhhh*
